Our Experience
 
  • We are currently representing more than 70 clients in High Court proceedings who are alleging they were sexually assaulted as patients in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda by the struck-off consultant Michael Shine
  • We advise and represent individuals in High Court actions for sexual assault and childhood abuse
  • We recently acted for the victims of paedophile swimming coach Derry O'Rourke and successfully vindicated our clients rights after a 10 year fight against the defendants in the High Court.
  • We negotiated directly with the Irish State to establish the Residential Institutions Redress Board and represented over 1500 clients who made application to the Redress Board
  • We have represented Complainants at the Commission to Inquire into Child Abuse, a judicial inquiry set up to investigate institutional child abuse in Ireland
  • We are currently representing Jersey care leavers in respect of abuse at Haut de la Garenne in Jersey and we are representing their interests in discussions with the States of Jersey
