Gríana is a solicitor working in the Corporate Department where she focuses on all aspects of corporate and commercial law and in particular the following: mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, joint ventures, management buyouts and acquisition finance. Gríana also advises clients in relation to the drafting, review and negotiation of commercial contracts including supply agreements for services and products, intellectual property agreements including licensing and assignments, distribution agreements, franchise agreements and agency agreements.
Relevant Professional Experience
Gríana's recent experience includes:
- Acting for a large pharmaceutical company in respect of its ongoing commercial agreements;
- Advising an overseas property syndicate on its restructure in Ireland;
- Acting for a US company on its licensing arrangements in Ireland including the drafting and negotiation of a license agreement for consideration in excess of €10million;
- Advising on the refinance of a company and its subsidiaries in the region of €25million;
- Acting for a corporate client in relation to proposed trading arrangements with suppliers;
- Acting for management companies in Ireland in respect of their legal obligations under the Companies Acts 1963-2009 and the Multi-Unit Development Act 2009.
Gríana also has significant experience in the area of property transactions and has dealt with commercial and residential conveyancing, refinancing and commercial lettings and assignments.
